Joy is the flower planter in our home.  The flowers in the real window “box” are some that she planted and cares for.  The plants in the first “box,” however, are courtesy of Mother Nature and are the responsibility of either myself or Jim to deal with.  So far, neither of us has.  I wonder which one of us will blink first, and whether said blink will occur before these seedlings grow large enough to tap for maple syrup.
