It is now a little after 11:00 pm on November 9, 2006. At 11:35 pm on November 9, 1961, I was born. Today I turn 45 years old, and I must say that right now I feel at least that old and maybe older. I am tired. All last week I had to get ready for our annual church meeting, as well as all the usual stuff. As for this week, I haven’t gotten enough sleep of late (nothing unusual there), and between now and Sunday I have to get the church bulletin ready, research and write my sermon, conduct a funeral, pick up my daughter (a 3 hour round trip), and lead a book discussion group on Nick Hornby’s How To Be Good. I grow more tired just thinking about what I need to do.
All this explains, in part, the dearth of real posts on my blogs, especially this one. Maybe next week I can get back track. Oh well, what are you gonna do? In the meantime, I am going to celebrate my B-day with a Coke, a late night slice of Pizza and watching the episode of CSI I taped earlier before going to sleep.
The time approaches, I must get my drink and pizza ready. Tomorrow is another day.
I just thought you should know.
