As reported here the 2006 list of the 50 most influential churches has been released, and sad to say, my church did not make the cut.

I have nothing against such lists per se, but they really serve little purpose.  In fact, such lists just make me wonder if either the churches on them (or for that matter the churches I have served) are what Jesus had in mind when he said “upon this rock I will build my church.”

Oh well, it’s probably just my own jealousy and envy showing their colors. Congratulations guys!
